Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.

Jess has been with Joshua Creek AH since 2012, right after Dr. Zubaidy and taken over the practice. Jess and Dr. Zubaidy met in 2011, when she was completing her co-op program at a previous hospital they had both worked at, from then they were a dynamic duo!
She had completed her education and became a registered veterinary technician in 2019 from the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus.

Jess has always been an animal lover, who could not imagine working in a field that did not involve animals.

Over the years she has owned quite the handful of pets! From Budgies, a rabbit, a chinichilla, to now her 3 dogs (Cleo, Covu and Scrappy-Doo), and Greenwing Macaw (Sherlock).

Lauren joined the Joshua Creek team in January 2022.
As expected from a member of a veterinary team, Lauren had her own sidekick, named Snowy . Lauren had Snowy for 17 wonderful years, through which he got the best care any cat could have asked for, while she stepped into the veterinary field.
When Lauren is not working, she absolutely loves traveling the world with her husband Andrew.
She graduated from Northern College in 2010 as a Veterinarian Assistant. She has been working in the animal field for over 10 years and is learning new skills every day.
Lauren is very passionate when it comes to animals' well-being and care.

We are thrilled to introduce Yousuf, our compassionate and dedicated veterinary assistant, to our esteemed clinic community. With a background in veterinary education from a prestigious institution abroad, Yousuf brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for animal care to our team.

After graduating, Yousuf embarked on a diverse professional journey, gaining invaluable experience across various fields. However, it was a serendipitous encounter with Dr. Z that reignited Yousuf's fervor for veterinary medicine. Under Dr. Z's mentor-ship, Yousuf found their calling as a veterinary assistant, where they discovered fulfillment in supporting veterinarians and providing exceptional care to animals.

At our clinic, Yousuf plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our furry patients and the satisfaction of their owners. Whether it's assisting in examinations, administering treatments, or offering comfort to nervous pets, Yousuf approaches each task with unwavering dedication and genuine compassion.

Alisha was a co-op student that completed her placement with Joshua Creek AH at the beginning of 2023.

Alisha's work ethics, animal/patient care was phenomenal, that JCAH hired her immediately after. Alisha has an interest for Veterinary Medicine, that we hope she pursues for a long-term career.

Minnie was a co-op student that completed her placement with Joshua Creek AH in 2024.
Although she was new to veterinary medicine, Minnie was ready to learn what goes on in an animal hospital and ready to gain tons of experience. Minnie has demonstrated that she has what it takes to excel in this field, which is why we did not hesitate to welcome her to the team.
